They don't make them like they used to..thank God!

I was out doing my usual Sunday morning car boot sale shenanigans when I came across this, which really took me back. This particular model Kay was the first guitar I ever owned, and man was it a dog! It got me thinking, though, how much more instrument you can get for your money nowadays. At the time, this guitar was about £90 new (though I bought mine off my older brother, who had graduated to an Ibanez RS 440, which I think he may still have). For that much money now you can get a perfectly playable Squier, despite the many years of inflation in between. Kids believe me, you've never had it so good!
