The amazing Celliano

"Herewith enclosed is an illustration of my self performing upon the Celliano, a unique instrument manufactured by The Empire Instrument Works of Warrington in the county of Cheshire.

"It is with great fondness that I recall how my very first outing with the Celliano produced something of a triumph at Mr Burkes Excelsior Theatre in Drury Lane, eliciting many cries of Huzzar! and Encore! from the assembled throng. Indeed such was the public acclaim, nay clamour for the instrument that it has led to numerous summonses to give an exhibition of my skills at some of the most fashionable house in our own great capitol and also upon the continent of Europe. In truth I have been so publicly fêted, and the tone produced my the instrument being of so a melodious, mellow and sentimental a nature that the playing of it has given me no little success with the fairer sex, details of which propriety forbids me to reveal here.
